My top 10 Pokemon from Sword and Shield

Sword and Shield are great games and the DLC seems like its going to solve all the problems that people had with the base games. My favourite part of these games are the awesome Pokemon introduced in generation 8. This is what keeps me coming back to do things like shiny hunting. So without further ado here is my top 10 new Pokemon from sword and shield.

No.10: Dragapult

The brand new pseudo legendary just about scrapes the list at number 10. The typing in ghost/dragon is very cool and the concept between it launching its offspring from its cannons at mach speed is crazy and I love it.

No.9: Grimmsnarl

This dark and fairy type goblin-devil, or whatever it is, starts off as a tiny imp and becomes a muscly, hairy giant of a Pokemon. Speaking of its hair, it covers its muscles with its hair to make itself stronger (which is an awesome concept by the way).

No.8 Sobble

I mean just look at him. He must be protected at all costs. Don’t make him cry either because if you mess with Sobble you will get in trouble.

No.7 Cinderace

This Pokemon couldn’t be anymore perfect for me really. I mean he is a footballer which is my favourite sport and is a fire type as well which is my favourite type. So obviously i chose it as my first starter and so I have fond memories with him and he helped me beat the league. Definitely a top 5 starter line. (also for everyone who says it looks like a furry, well it takes one to know one ;) )

No.6 Corviknight

Who doesn’t like Corviknight? Look at how cool he is. Still don’t like him? Well imagine him golden. Yeah thats his shiny and its better then the already amazing original. Like Cinderace I used him on my league winning team and i’ve had him since the start.

No. 5 Grapploct

Ah Grapploct. My first ever shiny. Well the first one i’ve hunted for. And what a shiny it is. Hence why I used its shiny’s picture. But thats not the only reason its on the list, his design is amazing and his pre evolution

No. 4 Obstagoon

These next 3 are all very close and have been on my team for my whole playthrough. They could easily be interchanged and swapped around. Ah Obstagoon, the punk rocker himself. This guy is so cool and his shiny is equally so. He bossed most the gym challenges and some of the league.

No.3 Falinks

When I first saw this I kinda just ignored it and thought it was cool but not memorable. Then I saw its 3D sprite and concept, thats when I fell in love with it. Its based of the falinks war formation hence why it has lots of different little soldiers making up its design. (I thought it was a caterpiller to start off with)

No. 2 Toxtricity

This is the coolest Pokemon ever in my opinion. He is sooooooooooooo cool. This is the kinda Pokemon that you would want as older brother. Another rockstar to add to my team.

No. 1 Appletun

This is perfection. Instantly entered my top 10 Pokemon of all time. Love his design, concept, typing everything. Amazing Pokemon
